During the course of this integrated project we did so much. For physics, we created solar ovens and for Humanities/Spanish we created recipes and translated them. I was super proud of my work in this project, as my solar oven reached 160 degrees and my recipe was super important to my family. I loved the design of this project.
For this project we worked in pairs, my partner was Daniel. We worked super well together, but at times I seemed to do majority of the work. For our recipes we decided to take the challenge option, so we both created sepperate recipes., I was super proud of that. With our solar oven, we did a lot of research for ideas and executed our idea very well. We had a massive light funell that absorbed a ton of heat. At first, we didn't think it would get that hot, but when we put it on its side it reached 160 degrees and almost cooked a cookie. Our oven turned out to be the hottest in the class.
I grew a lot in terms of work ethic in this project, I had to really keep working hard and plan out my work to be able to complete it. Due to the fact I did a lot of the work for my group I had to work super hard. In this project, I showed my work ethic and how hard I am wiling to work to complete certain tasks. I kind of struggled with content in this project. At first I wasn't able to understand the physics behind my oven, but towards the end I was able to understand It.
As I mentioned earlier, I worked really hard in this project. This showed my success in grit. If I struggled in one area it would probably be responsibility. I say this because Daniel and I got are measurements wrong twice for the same reasons. I shouldn't have let my partner and I make that mistake because our idea at the time wasn't even that great.
I was really proud of how Daniel and I did at exhibiton and our final products. Our oven was by far the hottest of the class and our recipes were both great foods. We used humor a lot in talking to parents and We had had a great time. final products. How do you feel about what you had to offer to the group? I would give myself a 10/10 for my overall grade. I worked hard, learned a lot, and grew a lot. That is the definition of a great group member and a great experience.
