Casino Night
Casino Night was probably the best math project I have ever done. Not only was it extremely fun to play casino games and learn to work at a casino. It was super fun to learn odds, Probability, the rules of numerous games, and how casinos operate.
For the project, we worked in groups of 4. Every single group chose a game that they would like to operate at our exhibition. The games ranged from regular casino games like blackjack and poker, to games like plinko and deal or no deal. My group chose Texas Hold'em poker, it is a 2 card variation of poker that is fast paced and very fun. My group was Andrea, Ethan, Isaac, and I. Ethan and Isaac were dealers, Andrea was the tax calculator, and I made 2 posters for our group. We worked super well together and used our skills well. Overall, this project was great for my math skills and I had a great time with it!
